Project Summary:

Community Systems Strengthening (CSS)

  • The project seeks to strengthen the capacity of the 50 CSO's on Organizational Development (OD) and Systems to effectively respond to HIV and TB II. The CSOs will be selected within KANCO membership
  • In addition, under CSS the project seeks to replicate and adopt STF model Bambasanani Expanded Community Based TB Program ("Project Vumbulula") to building the capacity of 25 CSOs to adopt and implement the STF HIV/TB model. The proposed targets for this activity are the TB Round 9 SSRs

Policy and advocacy

  • The project seeks to develop the capacity of CSOs to engage with decentralized structures (county government, CACCs, CDF, public health facilities) for access of resource both financial and technical support. The proposed area of focus was 5 constituencies within Nakuru County.  

Institutional strengthening

  • The project will seek to Strengthening KANCO institutional capacity through BMSF/TAP technical assistance in particularly with focus on development of an integrated M&E, financial system, granting and reporting system.
