KANCO’s objectives have been to raise the profile of nutrition as a government and development agenda, create awareness among the general population and policy makers on nutrition as a national agenda.
Early Childhood Devt
KANCO Early Childhood Development (ECD) project is a 3 year project started in Jan 2014 to end in December 2016. It focuses on strengthening the capacity of Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to deliver ECD integrated programs.

Global Fund
KANCO runs three programs under the Global Fund. GF Round 9 for TB, GF Round 10 for HIV and GF Round 10 for Malaria.
SHARP Program
Working with the International HIV/AIDS Alliance our Men’s Sexual Health and Rights Programme seeks to improve the sexual health and rights of men who have sex with men (MSM).
APHIA Plus
The project is in line with Kenya National Aids Strategic Plan (KNASP III). This aims to progress combination prevention approach in combating HIV and AIDS.
M-Health
KANCO has an MHealth pilot program in Rongai to track its clients, automating the referral process, internal flow of clients, data capture and data entry and generation of reports.
Vaccines Initiative
More than 1500 CSOs worldwide have come together to form the Gavi CSO Constituency and advocate for increased access to immunisation and health services.
Grassroots Advocacy
Grassroots advocacy can be a very effective tool in a number of different ways. Through mass emails, letter writing campaigns, grassroots advocates can bring issues to the attention of legislators.
IBP Budget Tracking
We engage with civil society, media and government at both national and county level. Our work consists of research, technical assistance and training, and advocacy.
TB ARC Project
The USAID funded Tuberculosis Accelerated Response and Care seeks to expand access to quality-assured TB services in all Counties and for all forms of TB.
TB Photovoice

Eastern African Harm Reduction Project
