The 2nd APCA Palliative Care Conference in Nairobi, Kenya in September 2007. The Palliative Care community in Africa will be meeting together for this special event and will be joined by others from around the world interested in palliative care. In the development and provision of palliative care in Africa it is important that we focus on the individual client and their family that needs and receives care, hence the focus of the conference is palliative care in Africa, making it real.
The setting of the conference, at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, will enhance the value of both the scientific and social events for all participants. Moreover the promotion of palliative care in Africa shall be advanced by this conference and new friendships and networks also established and old ones enriched.
